Mary-Louise Parker to Return to Broadway This October in MTC's SNOW GEESE; Daniel Sullivan Set to Direct

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Producer; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) and MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) will co-produce the world premiere of THE SNOW GEESE, a new play by Sharr White, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker.

MCC Theater presented its annual Miscast gala last night, March 4, 2013 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). Miscast 2013 honored Tony Award winner Judith Light (Other Desert Cities) for her illustrious screen and stage career (appearing on Broadway this year for her third straight season, this time in Richard Greenberg's upcoming The Assembled Parties), her work with MCC Theater (acclaimed performances in Colder Than Here and Wit), and her impassioned advocacy of several causes, including Arts in Education. MCC Theater presents the New York premiere production of Paul Downs Colaizzo's Really Really, directed by David Cromer (the Obie Award and Lucille Lortel Award-winning director of hits Our Town, Adding Machine and Tribes). The production, which marks Colaizzo's New York playwriting debut, plays at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) through March 10, 2013. The opening was last night, February 19. 2012 Artios Casting Award Winners Announced - ONCE, VENUS IN FUR & More

Given each year, in addition to the awards presented to casting directors for their achievements in Theatre, Television, and Film casting, the CSA also gave out the following special awards to Casting Director Lora Kennedy for the Hoyt Bowers Award given for excellence in casting; Harvey Fierstein received The New York Apple Award given to individual for contributions to the New York casting community and Ben Affleck, who received the Career Achievement Award.

The Casting Society of America CSA) announced today the nominations for the organization's 28th Annual Artios Awards for outstanding achievement in casting given in 22 categories including film, television and theater. The CSA will fete their own on Monday, October 29, 2012 with award ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. PDT) and at XL Nightclub, Cabaret & Lounge (512 West 42nd Street) in New York (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. EDT). Honorees for this year's Career Achievement Award, Hoyt Bowers Award and The New York Apple will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

The musical Carrie made her return eagerly awaiting return to New York City last night after the show's notoriously short 1988 run on Broadway. This brand new and revised production, now playing at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street), has already extended its run, and will now play performances through April 22, 2012. MCC Theater is presenting the newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical, which features music by Michael Gore, lyrics by Dean Pitchford (Academy Award winning composer and lyricist for the original film Fame) and a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (who also adapted the 1974 novel by Stephen King for the 1976 Brian DePalma film). Directed by Stafford Arima, performances for Carrie begin January 31, 2012, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
