NBC has given a pilot production commitment to the new drama SALVATION, from Tony Award winning playwright Warren Leight, CRASH's Paul Haggis and Sony TV.

Mile Square Theatre, Hudson County's leading professional theatre, is proud to present the second production of its 2016 season - the world premiere of LONG GONE DADDY, written and performed by MST's playwright-in-residence Joseph Gallo.  Directed by MST artistic director Chris O'Connor, performances begin July 20 and run through August 7 in the company's new venue, located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken.

1972: Dr. John Fryer dons an oversize tuxedo and rubber joke shop mask to become Dr. Henry Anonymous and confront the American Psychiatric Association with these words: 'I am a homosexual, I am a psychiatrist.' The latest work by renowned theatre artist Ain Gordon, 217 Boxes of Dr. Henry Anonymous, is a new play drawn from the 217 boxes of archive materials from national LGBT activist of Dr. John Fryer discovered by Ain Gordon during his two-year embedded artist status at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania (HSP). This new work is set to run, May 5-7, at the Painted Bride Arts Center, 230 Vine Street. All performances are at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $20. Signature Theatre presents a special return engagement of Old Hats, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub, directed by Tina Landau. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Diane Paulus, Artistic Director, presents a reading of TRANS SCRIPTS, a groundbreaking new play about transgender identity, written by Paul Lucas, and directed by Jo Bonney, at OBERON tonight, November 23 at 7:30PM.

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of John Pollono's LOST GIRLS. The production is directed by Jo Bonney who last collaborated with playwright John Pollono on MCC's critically acclaimed production of Small Engine Repair. LOST GIRLS opens tonight, November 9. It is scheduled through November 29, 2015.

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of John Pollono's LOST GIRLS. Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series 'Covert Affairs' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach (HBO's 'Girls'), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green.

Another stage vet will soon be headed to NBC's LAW & ORDER: SVU.
