BWW Review: Sedona International Film Festival Features VOODOO MACBETH

A bold and refreshing initiative by USC School of Cinematic Arts claims the title of Welles’s legendary stage production, VOODOO MACBETH, for a full-length film that chronicles the making of the staging. The film is scheduled for showing at the Sedona International Film Festival (June 12th-20th).

The Drama Book Shop Will Reopen on June 10

New owners Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda have announced the return of The Drama Book Shop, which will reopen to the public on Thursday, June 10, 2021. The 104-year-old independent bookstore will open its doors once again at its new home at 266 West 39th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.

Citizens Rally to Save Rutherford's Historic William Carlos Williams Performing Arts Center and Newman Theatre

A group of Rutherford residents are making a last-ditch effort to raise awareness of the auction of the Williams Carlos Williams Center for the Performing Arts, including starting an online petition which has garnered over 2,000 signatures. Bergen County, who has owned the building since 1987, has decided to give up on maintaining the costs for this building, which happens to sit on the most coveted piece of real estate in the center of this NJ town.
