Lookingglass Theatre Company announces the addition of Eddie Jemison to the Midwest Premiere of Life Sucks by Aaron Posner, directed by Ensemble Member Andrew White and featuring Ensemble Member Philip R. Smith as Dr. Aster. Jemison replaces previously-announced Ensemble Member Joey Slotnick in the role of Vanya, due to a scheduling conflict.

Ed Asner, winner of seven EMMY Awards with 20 nominations and five Golden Globes, will star in the staged reading of Walter Bagot's third play, Elevator Music, at the Skylight Theatre. An entertainment icon, Broadway performer, and Television Academy "Hall of Famer," Asner will be sharing the stage with theatre veteran Rob Nagle (recently Rogue Machine's Pocatello, Antaeus, Troubadour, Denver Center, and Arena Stage).

The Drilling Company's Shakespeare in the Parking Lot ensemble opens the third season of Shakespeare performances in Bryant Park with 'Much Ado about Nothing' set in the Post World War I Suffragette movement. This free production, directed by Hamilton Clancy, is one of three plays that is included in Bryant Park Presents Shakespeare and is offered from May 19 to June 4 on the Upper Terrace of Bryant Park, behind the New York Public Library.

It continues through April 17 in Red Bank, Newark and New Brunswick. Rupert Young (High Society at the Old Vic, Sir Leon in BBC's Merlin) plays Leonard Charteris, the philanderer of the title. Now in its 5th edition, 'OperaWine, Finest Italian Wines: 100 Great Producers' offers invited members of the trade and press to get to know the wines of the 100 best Italian producers, as chosen by Wine Spectator Magazine. This year, those producers included British singer-songwriter Sting and his wife Trudie Styler, whose 'Sister Moon,' an IGT Toscano produced at his 16th century estate Tenuta il Palagio was among the wines selected.
