The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing professionals, today announced the winners of the 6th Annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards, honoring commercial and not-for-profit Off Broadway productions that opened during the 2015-2016 season.

Following great critical success in New York, innovative and ground breaking theatre company Fiasco bring their enchanting reinvention of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's masterpiece Into The Woods to the Chocolate Factory this Summer. The production opens on 12 July, with previews from 1 July, and runs until 17 September.

Comedian Jim Breuer along with backing band The Loud & Rowdy have just released their latest single “Mr. Rock n' Roll” which features vocals by Brian Johnson of AC/DC. Breuer tells Rolling Stone of the collaboration, “To me, Brian is the most powerful voice in rock and roll.

It's a happy day for the Jacobs family! Brother and sister Adam and Arielle Jacobs just surprised their parents with the news that Arielle will be playing Princess Jasmine in the Australian production of Aladdin opening in Sydney this August.
