The long awaited revival of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry's gripping Tony Award-winning murder mystery musical PARADE as presented five years ago at Fullerton's Plummer Auditorium by 3-D Theatricals (3DT) of Los Angeles and Orange County, will once again take a bow at two Southern California main stage theatres beginning June 1 - 10 at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts and June 15 - 24, 2018 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Broadway's JEFF SKOWRON*, RUFUS BONDS JR.* and DAVIS GAINES* lead many returning cast members of the original 2013 3DT production.

For our 87th show, it's May, it's May, the lusty month of May and we are doing our usual irreverent and wacky May show, where, as Cole Porter once said, anything goes. We have an amazing cast plus two great guest stars. You'll hear some very rare songs from shows like The Grass Harp, Grover's Corners, Personals, Bring Back Birdie, A Broadway Musical, plus some rare cut songs from shows, plus some classics, both from shows and The Great American Songbook.

The Matthew Bourne / New Adventures production of 'The Red Shoes,' presented by Center Theatre Group and Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, is making its American premiere now through October 1, 2017 in Los Angeles. A Little House Christmas/based on the book Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder/'adapted for the stage by James DeVita/directed by Emily Chase/Sierra Madre Playhouse/through December 23Laura Ingalls Wilder's classic book Little House on the Prairie (1932) became famous as an hour-long TV drama in the 70s (1974-1983) starring Michael Landon and featuring Melissa Gilbert in her acting debut as Laura. The books, as well as the TV show, are forever popular. As part of their focus on America season, Sierra Madre Playhouse and its artistic director Christian Lebano have chosen James DeVita's stage adaptation of the stories as its holiday presentation A Little House Christmas beautifully directed by Emily Chase and featuring a superb cast of 10, now onstage in its West Coast premiere, through December 23.

An ageless tale of fear, greed, and power, The Crucible is a revolutionary work of theater by Arthur Miller. Since the play's Broadway premiere in 1953, The Crucible has enjoyed worldwide success. Local audiences can experience this classic drama when Costa Mesa Playhouse presents The Crucible April 13 - May 6.
