Theatre of NOTE continues its 2019 season with ROOTS: An Evening of World Premiere Shorts,by Lisa Sanaye Dring, Phinneas Kiyomura, Erik Patterson, and Bill Robens, directed by Lee Hannah Conrads. ROOTS: An Evening of World Premiere Shorts is an evening of four wonderfully strange world premiere short plays, written by four accomplished Theatre of NOTE-grown playwrights, which together usher audiences through the complexity of the human condition. 

The Warner Theatre will welcome POSTMODERN JUKEBOX to the Main Stage on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 8 pm. Tickets will go on sale to Warner Members on Tuesday, April 23 at 10 am and to the General Public Friday, April 26 at 10 am.

The Tallest Man on Earth's new album I Love You. It's A Fever Dream. is out now. The record is Kristian Matsson's first in four years and was written and produced entirely by Matsson himself. NPR Music's “First Listen” describes him as 'the preeminent Swedish one-man folkie reviving the genre.'

The uncensored trailer for the anticipated Amazon Original series The Boys was revealed today on Reddit by Garth Ennis, writer and co-creator of the original comic book series. The subversive superhero series will debut July 26 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories. The Boys will make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival Monday, April 29.

2019 marks the 70th anniversary of Prestige Records, one of the most revered jazz labels in the world. Throughout the '50s and '60s, Prestige was at the forefront of modern jazz, releasing sessions from some of the most influential names in music, including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Stan Getz, and Sonny Rollins. The Musical Instrument Museum presents STEPPIN' OUT WITH BEN VEREEN bringing the legendary perform to Phoenix for two shows on April 20th.

Friday's telecast grew over the prior day by 11% in Households (1.8/5), as well as opening night on Monday by 11% (1.8/5). Friday's show welcomed Celine Dion and Chris Tucker.
