Trinity Theatre is proud to start its 2018 season (Season VI) with William Shakespeare's classic Tragedy: MACBETH. 'All hail Macbeth', the witches proclaim, before the brave Scottish soldier returns home to honor and glory. But, they have one more prophecy, that he 'shall be king hereafter', thus igniting the flame of intrigue and desire in Macbeth's heart. Encouraged by his wife, Macbeth is to become one of Shakespeare's most fascinating characters, as he begins a hero, and descends a dangerous and infamous path.

UP THE RABBIT HOLE opened Tuesday, September 26th, at Theater for the New City (155 1st Avenue at 10th Street) for a run through Sunday, October 15th. Andy Halliday and GR Johnson return to Theater for the New City following their acclaimed 2014 collaboration Nothing But Trash with this deeply personal story about a young gay man who has fallen into a world of sex and obsession, and must find his way out. Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces that each show of its 2017 Nutmeg Summer Series, 1776, Noises Off, and Disney's Newsies, will have performances interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL) through a partnership with the University of Connecticut Interpreting Services (UCIS), a division of the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD). ASL interpreted performances will take place during the Saturday matinee performances on June 10 (1776), June 24 (Noises Off), and July 15th (Disney's Newsies).
