Millie Grams Returns to Don't Tell Mama on 6/25

After performing for two years at the Betty Ford Clinic, Millie Grams brings her crowd-pleasing show back to Don't Tell Mama on June 25th (7pm). Millie is ready to tickle her funny bone with parodies of Cole Porter, Jerry Herman, Elton John, Leslie Gore, Kander and Ebb, Andrew Lloyd Weber and Abba, all seamlessly tied together with heartfelt tales of her life as a hustling showgirl. Barrett Foa and Marissa Mulder will join Annie Golden, Lillias White, Alice Ripley, Nathan Lee Graham, Vivian Reed, Lady Rizo,Gay Marshall, Carol Lipnik, Rob Maitner, Gabrielle Stravelli, T. Oliver Reid and Nadia Quinn & Ahna O'Reilly with the Playbillies to headline the sixth annual 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre.

Tony DeSare, Bridget Barkan and More to Honor Prince at THE MEETING* at Joe's Pub

THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater to conclude its Spring 2016 season on Sunday, May 22 at 7:00 PM. The May show will honor the beloved late superstar Prince, with music director Tracy Stark leading a four-piece band and special musical guests Tony DeSare, Bridget Barkan, Michael Cavadias, Mark Aaron James and Ali Grieb.

Lillias White, Annie Golden & More Join NIGHT OF A THOUSAND JUDYS Lineup

Lillias White, Annie Golden, T. Oliver Reid, Lady Rizo, Vivian Reed, and Nadia Quinn & Ahna O'Reilly with the Playbillies will join the previously announced headliners Alice Ripley, Nathan Lee Graham, Gay Marshall, Carol Lipnik, Rob Maitner and Gabrielle Stravelli for the sixth annual "Night Of A Thousand Judys" - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre. The event will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan) on Monday, June 6.

Artists in Partnership to Host 14th Annual Cabaret Festival, 5/19-22

Artists in Partnership (AIP), a non-profit cultural arts organization, will host its 14th Annual Cabaret Festival May 19-22 at the Long Beach Public Library, 111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY. The festival will be a celebration of the cabaret genre honoring the Great American Songbook. All performances are FREE to the public.

THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater to continue the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, April 17 at 9:30 PM. The April show will honor the iconic entertainer Barbra Streisand with special guests Jessica Vosk, Nick Cearley, Inyang Bassey and Amber Martin, with others to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

At a ceremony held earlier this week in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2016 MAC Awards. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Amanda McBroom. Also honored with a Board of Directors award was Maryann Lopinto. Jamie deRoy received the Ruth Kurtzman Benefit Award on behalf of her work with The Actors Fund: Jamie deRoy & Friends Cabaret Initiative. Sally Darling received the Hanson Award. The show was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Matt Baker.

2016 MAC Awards Ceremony Set for BB King's Tonight

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs presents the 30th Annual MAC Awards tonight, March 29, 2016, at 7:30pm, at BB King Blues Club & Grill on 42nd Street in New York City.

Natalie Joy Johnson, Lance Horne & Nadia Quinn to Join THE MEETING in Celebrating Elton John, 3/20

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater to continue the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, March 20 at 9:30 PM. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The 2014-2015 season sold out after a profile in The New York Times "Arts & Leisure" section. The March show will honor the celebrated singer and songwriter Elton John with special guests Natalie Joy Johnson, Lance Horne and The Quinns (Nadia Quinn and Ameara Wahhab) with others to be announced. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

Joseph Macchia's CABARET CARES Children's HIV/AIDS Charity To Honor JULIE WILSON With Variety Show at Metropolitan Room, 3/17

The art of cabaret lost its Queen almost a year ago when the Julie Wilson died on April 5 at age 90. There will likely be a number of tributes to Ms. Wilson throughout this year and a big one is happening on March 17 at 7 pm at the Metropolitan Room, where Joseph Macchia's Cabaret Cares/Help Is On the Way charity will pay tribute to the cabaret legend with a star-studded variety show that will also raise money for the organization that supports children living with HIV/AIDS.
