Bay Street Theatre's Literature Live! presents THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK live on stage tonight, November 8 through Tuesday, November 26.

Bay Street Theatre has announced that Scott Schwartz, a leading voice of the next generation of American theater, has joined Bay Street as its new Artistic Director. Bonnie Comley and Stewart F. Lane hosted the welcome party at a private club in New York City to celebrate his arrival and to introduce him to Bay Street Theatre patrons and members of the Broadway community of actors, directors and producers. Bay Street Theatre and B. Smith's bring Halloween fun to the Long Wharf on Saturday, October 26 with the "Boneyard Bash" Halloween party. The fun begins at 8 pm with a cash bar and music by DJ Karin Ward.

Bay Street Theatre's Literature Live! will present THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK live on stage beginning Friday, November 8 thru Tuesday, November 26. The play is suggested for ages 13 and up. The program is sponsored in part by Magda & Edward Bleier - The Dana Foundation, Halstead Property, Susan Goldstein - The Sunny & Abe Rosenberg Foundation, Suffolk County and the Town of Southampton. Ticket prices are $10 for students and $20 for general admission.

Bay Street Theatre has announced that an anonymous donor has promised a gift of $300,000 to launch a matching funds campaign. The gift was in response to Bay Street's formal announcement that Scott Schwartz will be the new Artistic Director for the 2014 season.

Over the past twenty years, he has built a reputation for pursuing and embracing a wide range of works for the stage, from new plays to classics to musicals and opera.

Bay Street Theatre welcomed Joy Behar, Susie Essman, Julie Halston, Angela LaGreca and Mercedes Ruehl to the stage as they performed a night of comedy, song and original artistic pieces for the Broads for Bay Street as a benefit for the theatre to raise money for its summer and educational programs. The Neo Political Cowgirls (NPC) are performing their summer fundraiser production of EVE tonight, July 31 and Thursday, August 1 at 8 pm at LTV Studies at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott, NY. A portion of the proceeds to benefit Bay Street Theatre.

The camps are for students aged 8 through 12, and run Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 12:30 pm daily at Studio 3 in Bridgehampton. Each week long camp includes many aspects of theatre including improv, vocal instruction, dance and more. This summer's first and last week of camp will be led by Karen Peele Hochstedler. Classes held during August 5-9 will be led by Christine Martinez and Bobby Peterson.

The annual 'ROCK THE DOCK' SUMMER BENEFIT BASH today, July 20, will be hosted by the one and only Susan Lucci. Actor and Bay Street Board Member, Richard Kind, who most recently won the DRAMA DESK AWARD for his role on Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, will be the evening's celebrity auctioneer. Board member Joy Behar also plans on attending, with a host of other surprise celebrities

The Bay Street Theatre, a not-for-profit professional regional theatre situated on Long Wharf, in Sag Harbor, NY, is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana Aceti as its new Director of Development. A resident of Sag Harbor, Aceti brings over twenty years of fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and communications experience to Bay Street Theatre. She has spent the last year as Director of External Relations and Advancement at The Watermill Center, and the previous seven years as Director of Development & Major Gifts at East Hampton's Ross School.
