Broadway's Tracee Beazer (Memphis, The Wedding Singer, All Shook Up), Tracy Jai Edwards (Hairspray, Legally Blonde), Hollie Howard (Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Annie Get Your Gun), Robyn Hurder (Grease, Chicago, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Gabrielle Ruiz (In the Heights, A Chorus Line) and Chelsea Morgan Stock (The Little Mermaid, Baby, It's You!) will make up the cast of the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival premiere of The Broadway Dolls in TOUR DE FIERCE! ‘The Broadway Dolls' was created by Broadway veteran (and cast member) Hollie Howard in 2007, and Tour De Fierce is co-conceived, designed, and helmed by Broadway Dolls Artistic Director, Joey Murray.

Broadway and Off-Broadway producer Ken Davenport (author of the popular blog, The Producer's Perspective) will present Catie O'Keefe's Extraction as the sixth selection in THE DAVENPORT DEVELOPMENTAL READING SERIES, for readings of new works (plays and/or musicals), on Monday, June 13th at the Davenport Studio (250 West 49th Street, Suite 302, NYC).

Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.

Take It From the Top, a summer musical theatre intensive, has announced that it will come to Charlotte, NC. The Broadway workshop was founded by Paul Canaan (performer and educator) and Laura Bell Bundy (star of Legally Blonde on Broadway) and features a 3-days of musical theatre education. Joining Paul will be Tracy Jai Edwards (Broadway's Hairspray and Legally Blonde) and a team of working Broadway professionals to provide training and prospective for students interested in pursuing a professional career in musical theatre as well as those just looking to have fun in the performing arts.
