Drayton Entertainment will present a knockout playbill in 2019 packed with Broadway blockbusters, hilarious comedies, stirring tributes, fun-filled family musicals and a few more dramas than in previous seasons. Artistic Director Alex Mustakas continues his bid to bring a wide variety of crowd-pleasing productions to the award-winning charitable not-for-profit theatre organization's seven stages throughout Ontario.

Rudyard Kipling's timeless tale of a boy lost in the jungle and taken in by wolves has opened at Greenwich Theatre in a stage adaptation by Tracey Power.

This summer Greenwich Theatre is hoping to launch a summer tradition with the opening of their new production of The Jungle Book.

Three Sisters Theatre Company, Ottawa's own indie theatre company dedicated to promoting local opportunities for women in theatre, delights audiences with Miss Shakespeare, a new musical by Kamloops, BC playwright Tracey Power with music co-written with Steve Charles, featuring a powerhouse cast of Ottawa talent including CBC National Triple Sensation II winner, Leah Cogan.

The Firehall Arts Centre brings its hit show, Chelsea Hotel: The Songs of Leonard Cohen, back to the stage from March 17 to April 21 in celebration of the venue's 35th anniversary season and to pay homage to the late Mr. Cohen. Featuring six artists playing seventeen different instruments, this award-winning production has toured across Canada to sold out audiences.

For 35 years, the Firehall Arts Centre has been a cultural beacon for the Vancouver arts community, producing and presenting provocative, thought-provoking, compelling, and highly entertaining pieces of work in the heritage building at the corner of Cordova and Gore. 

The Cultch is thrilled to present East Van Panto: Little Red Riding Hood at the York Theatre from Wednesday, November 23 to Saturday, December 31, 2016.

Artistic Producer, Donna Spencer is pleased to announce the Firehall Arts Centre has been named a recipient of the 2016 International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP) 50/50 Applause Award. Celebrating gender parity on five continents, the ICWP 50/50 Applause Award recognizes theatres that produced 50% or more female playwrights in their 2015/16 season of shows.

The Firehall Arts Centre is pleased to announce its 34th season and Artistic Director Donna Spencer has proudly programmed a season that celebrates women and their connections to community and family. From one of Canada's funniest people on television, Cathy Jones, to the iconic music of Joni Mitchell; from the dream of women telling their own stories on stage in Shakespeare's time to the heart-rendering story of a refugee mother struggling to help her son become a Canadian; and from a new mom coping with the challenges of motherhood to a sixteenth century French noblewoman trying to survive abandonment on an island off the coast of Newfoundland, the stories are all rich, compelling, and highly entertaining.

Theatre 20 presents CHELSEA HOTEL: THE SONGS OF LEONARD COHEN, a Firehall Arts Centre production, directed and conceived by Tracey Power, with musical direction and arrangements by Steven Charles. CHELSEA HOTEL: THE SONGS OF LEONARD COHEN is a celebration of the powerful and iconic anthems from Canadian music legend, Leonard Cohen. The production premiered in 2012 at Vancouver's Firehall Arts Centre and has since made stops across the country to critical acclaim. The Theatre 20 production is now being mounted with Theatre Passe Muraille to Toronto audiences.
