Joe's Pub is proud to announce the headlining runs of shows for its 2017 Fall Season, running September 6 to November 30!

Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Betty Buckley will return to Joe's Pub at The Public with Story Songs #2 - a new collection of music - on the heels of her nationally-acclaimed album, Story Songs, from October 12-15. 

Stage Right's professional season will continue with the musical Pippin coming to the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, February 17-19.

'OMG! Mom and Dad are being such phonies, so I'm going to run away and marry a pirate. Before you think about that too much, let me distract you with this show-stopping production number!' Actually 'TINK!' wasn't as vacuous as all that, though - true to the exclamation point in its title - it did tend to deliver narrative details in bold plot points. Still, Tony Marino's barrel-of-laughs filled book, aided by Lena Gabrielle's tuneful score, with an assist from Greg Kerestan on lyrics ensured that 'TINK!' stood out as one of the more delectable treats in this year's New York Musical Festival smorgasbord.

The 9th season of New York Theatre Barn's New Works Series continues on Monday, May 30th, 2016 at The Cell with Pre-Premieres of two new musicals: The Last Song of Eddie Scourge and Tink. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the 'American' Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.

Last week, Betty Buckley returned to Joe's Pub to debut her newest cabaret concert DARK BLUE-EYED BLUES. Thrilled to have been recognized as a chanteuse in recent reviews, Buckley programmed the evening to be the "musings of a chanteuse," packing the set with standards and contemporary hits. The Broadway legend performed with tangible vivacity and charm, making this intimate evening a joy to experience.

Her new collection of songs - running tonight, May 28 through May 31 - will feature 'Musings of a Chanteuse' and will include standards and songs by contemporary writers for some glamour, torch and comedy. She will be joined by Christian Jacob on piano, Tony Marino on bass, Todd Isler on drums and Oz Noy on guitar. Terry Gabis provides sound design.

Pete McGuinness, established NYC-based jazz trombonist, GRAMMY-nominated composer/arranger, award-winning jazz vocalist, and longtime jazz educator is slated to perform at Millersville University twice. Catch Pete McGuinness performing with the students of the MU Jazz Ensemble tonight, February 20 at 7:30 pm at the Winter Center on Millersville University's campus as part of 'Jazz at the Ville'. The Winter Center is located at 60 West Cottage Ave, Millersville.

Then, the following evening, Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 pm, Pete McGuinness returns, this time at the Ware Center and accompanied by the Steve Rudolph Trio, for an unforgettable Jazz in the Sky performance with in the Owen Salon, renamed this season in honor of Harvey Owen who retired as the Director of the Ware Center this past July.

When Nate Birkey last appeared at the Ware Center - over two years ago - he not only sold out, but brought the audience to its feet for a long standing ovation at the end. Seems Lancaster just couldn't get enough of Birkey, so the Ware Center is bringing him back tonight, February 7 at 7:30 PM in an all new performance specifically designed for the year's most romantic holiday.
