Nine time Tony award winning director, choreographer and performer, Tommy Tune, has put his personal stamp on some of Broadway's biggest musicals including My One and Only, The Will Rogers Follies and of course Grand Hotel. Here he talks about a magical moment from Grand Hotel that he just couldn't get right.

On Thursday, February 21, Roundabout Theatre Company officially opened the Broadway revival production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Sunday in the Park with George at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). The limited engagement, which began previews January 25, 2008, has been extended through June 1, 2008.

The 2008 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards recognizing excellence in dance on both stage and film have announced that nine time Tony Award & two time Astaire Award winner Tommy Tune will receive the 2008 Fred & Adele Astaire Lifetime Achievement at the awards gala slate for June 2, 2008

After a hiatus of 3 years, The Astaire Awards will once again recognize excellence in dance on both stage and film.

Luba Mason (Chicago, Jekyll & Hyde) brings her 'Collage' Tour back to the Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street), for a special 6-night-only engagement beginning Wednesday February 27.

Variety reports that due to the writers' strike, production on the up-coming Rob Marshall movie musical adaptation of Nine has been postponed to 2008. The actors attached to The Weinstein Co. project will remain intact, though it was announced earlier this week that actress Catherine Zeta-Jones had withdrawn from the film.
