Sam Harris at Birdland December 16 & 17

Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com are proud to announce celebrated vocalist and award-winning musical comedian Sam Harris at 7PM on both Sunday, December 16 and Monday, December 17, part of the long-running, critically-heralded and popular concert series Broadway at Birdland.

A renowned star of stage, screen and stereo, with over two decades in the spotlight, Harris will bring his remarkable blend of powerhouse vocals, brilliant comedy chops and one-of-a-kind perspective, to perform a mix of standards and stage favorites, as well as songs from his new upcoming CD, "Free."

Most recently seen as Perry Pearl on CBS's acclaimed comedy series "The Class," Harris has come a long way from his television debut as the winner of the premiere season of "Star Search." After touring in concert for several years (including a show at Carnegie Hall), as well as a hit TBS sitcom "Down to Earth," Harris returned to the theatre, winning the Drama League Award for his role in Cy Coleman's The Life, and a Drama Desk nomination for his role in Tommy Tune's Grease. He also starred in productions of The Producers, Cabaret and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Performances are Sunday, December 16 & Monday, December 17, 2007. Both nights at 7PM at Birdland (315 West 44th Street, between 8th & 9th Aves)
