Actress Sarah Stiles, who was scheduled to make her Broadway debut in a starring role on November 13 – just days after a nearly 3-week strike shut down most Broadway shows – will finally get to take center stage tonight, Friday, November 30 at 8PM when the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q performs at the Golden Theatre (252 W. 45 St.)

Stiles will take on the starring dual roles of the musical's beloved puppet characters Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut tonight, the second performance that Avenue Q will give since the strike ended late Wednesday night.

As Kate (a kindergarten school teaching assistant) and Lucy (an avowed tramp), Stiles will perform in the show's signature numbers "It Sucks to Be Me," "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist," "The Internet is for Porn," "Special," The More You Ruv Someone," and others.

Sarah Stiles steps into a starring role on Broadway, having been an understudy in the company of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway and on tour, and with Tommy Tune in the tour of Dr. Doolittle.

Avenue Q is the winner of 3 Tony Awards in 2004, including Best Musical.  A hilarious musical about 20-somethings fresh out of college who move to New York City with big dreams and tiny bank accounts, the musical has been a favorite with audiences for over 4 years on Broadway (1750 performances and counting!), as well as in London and now on U.S. national tour.
