Luba Mason (Chicago, Jekyll & Hyde) brings her "Collage" Tour back to the Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street), for a special 6-night-only engagement beginning Wednesday February 27.  Mason, who played New York's white-hot intimate concert venue in November, sticks with "Collage" as she pieces together a diverse local following attracted to her high-energy hybrid style integrating pop, jazz and Latin rhythm.

Performances are February 27, 28, 29 & March 1 at 7:30PM, Sunday March 2 at 9:30PM and Monday March 3 at 9:30PM.

The whistle-stop "Collage" Tour, which included stints in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago in 2007, celebrates the release of her much-admired debut recording.

Most recently on Broadway, the New York native was Velma Kelly in Chicago. She's had starring roles in Jekyll & Hyde, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (opposite Matthew Broderick), Paul Simon's The Capeman, and she was featured in The Will Rogers Follies directed by Tommy Tune.

Mason counts Latin heartthrob Ruben Blades among her collaborators on "Collage."  In 2003 the two proved an intriguing combination when they merged her Slovak intensity and his Latin passion on his Grammy Award-winning CD "Mundo."

The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, celebrates its second anniversary in May.  For reservations call 212/206-0440.  Mason's cover is $30.  For information visit www.metropolitanroom.com.
