After a trip around the world, the pink bus has returned to Melbourne. The revamped version of the musical opened to an audience who rose to their feet at the Regent Theatre, nearly 10 years after the original season closed.

The 2017 nominees for the Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards have been announced. These annual awards are regarded amongst the most valued and prestigious in the South African performing arts industry. This year's ceremony will take place on 18 March at 17:30 at the Baxter Theatre Centre in Cape Town and promises to be an 'Elegantly Extravagant' evening.

Australia's most successful homegrown musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, is previewing to packed houses at Melbourne's Regent Theatre ahead of its official ' pink carpet ' gala opening this Tuesday 30 January.
