Jedlicka Performing Arts Center concludes its 2013-14 season with the new Broadway musical BIG FISH with music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa, book by esteemed screenwriter John August, directed by Artistic Director Dante J. Orfei, music direction by John Warren and choreography by Dina DiCostanzo. BIG FISH will play July 25 - August 9, 2014 at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, 3801 S. Central Ave. in Cicero. Due to the grandness of PENNY DREADFUL's scale, going into the finale, the show's pacing and habit of ignoring characters and storylines for weeks at a time left me wondering what would actually be revealed in the Season Finale. There were so many different players in Logan's mythology that it felt like he threw so much into Season 1 that could have (should have?) been saved for subsequent seasons.
