Since their inception in 1996, the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre presented by the Investors Foundation have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey.

Lana Schwartz will be the new kid at the zoo, taking on the role of Livvy Lovewell- previously named Levi Lovewell and played by original cast member, Theo Errig.

The Musical, by Keni Fine and Tony Small, directed and choreographed by Michael Chase Gosselin, beginning performances on July 10 and opening Sunday, July 23 at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45 Street).
