Nuffield Southampton Theatres today announces CinderELLA The Musical, adapted and directed by Michael Fentiman with music and additional lyrics by Barnaby Race, as their 2019 Christmas show. Theatre Royal Stratford East today announces the full casting for their co-production with Royal & Derngate, Northampton, of Our Lady of Kibeho, written by Katori Hall. Marking 25 years since the Rwandan genocide, this powerful drama now has its London premiere at Theatre Royal Stratford East in a remount of James Dacre's critically acclaimed production at Royal & Derngate earlier this year. Reprising their roles are Michelle Asante (Sister Evangelique), Michaela Blackburn (Evas), Pepter Lunkuse (Marie-Claire Mukangango), Michael Mears (Father Flavia), Rima Nsubuga (Vestine), Ery Nzaramba (Father Tuyishime), Ewart James Walters (Nkango Mukamazimpaka) and Leo Wringer (Bishop Gahamanyi). They will be joined by Aretha Ayeh (Immaculee), Pérola Congo (Therese), Taz Munya (Alphonsine), Liyah Summers (Anathalie) and Mitchell Zhangazha (Emmanuel).

Derby Theatre has announced casting for their big production in the main house this autumn, a co-production with Queen's Theatre Hornchurch of Richard Bean's hilarious farce, One Man, Two Guvnors. The production will run at Derby Theatre from Saturday 7 until Saturday 28 September, before moving on to play at the Queen's Theatre from Wednesday 2 until Saturday 19 October.

Following its hugely successful run, the English Touring Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East production of Equus opened this week at London's Trafalgar Studios.

Colin Salmon, star of the James Bond film series, Netflix's Master of None and Syfy's Krypton, has been confirmed to join the cast of the Howard Zinn biopic, The Time Of Our Lies. Guest starring for one night on 2 August, Colin will play the lead role as the American historian, author and social activist, Howard Zinn. Daniel Benzali will star as Howard Zinn for the remainder of the run. With Trang Le and Jessye Romeo also joining the ensemble, The Time Of Our Lies is written by Bianca Bagatourian and directed by Che Walker, with movement by Maureen Fleming.

With Blues in the Night about to open at the theatre, and The Son soon to transfer to the West End, Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, today announces the full cast for her production of the world premiere of Anupama Chandrasekhar's When the Crows Visit - Ayesha Dharker (Hema), Bally Gill (Akshay), Mariam Haque (Uma / Kavita), Asif Khan (Gopi / Inspector), Aryana Ramkhalawon (Ragini), Paul G Raymond (David) and Soni Razdan (Jaya).
