TheaterWorks Hartford will present the New England Premiere of Queen of Basel by Hilary Bettis. Featuring an all Latinx cast and creative team, Queen of Basel runs February 3–26, 2023 at TheaterWorks Hartford’s historic home.

It may have been baseball great, Yogi Berra, who coined the phrase, 'It's deja vu all over again,' but for that feeling of the same things happening over and over again, no property tells the tale better than Groundhog Day, The Musical, making its Connecticut premiere at Curtain Call.

Banana Bag & Bodice has announced the premiere of their film Space//Space as part of the Special Screenings program at the Anthology Film Archive. 

According to the New York Times, playwright and librettist Bridgette Wimberley passed away on December 1st at the age of 68 as a result of complications from strokes.

Soho Rep and the NAATCO National Partnership Project will present Public Obscenities, a bilingual play performed in Bangla and English from writer-director Shayok Misha Chowdhury, co-commissioned and produced by the two organizations, February 15-March 26, 2023.

The Orange Tree Theatre has announced their production of Tom Kempinski’s 1980 drama Duet For One. Richard Beecham makes his OT debut directing Tara Fitzgerald (Stephanie Abrahams) and Maureen Beattie (Dr Feldmann) in this new adaptation accompanied by live music.

San Francisco Playhouse will present the World Premiere of Cashed Out by Native American playwright Claude Jackson, Jr. Cashed Out will perform January 26 – February 25, 2023 (opening night: February 1) at San Francisco Playhouse.
