NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, July 26, at 3pm.

Actor, musician and songwriter Jeremiah Downes will present a newly revised concert production of his revue, Highways & Daydreams: The Songs of Jeremiah Downes, in Philadelphia on July 24th at the Biello Martin Studio in Old City (creative home to musical theater writers Michael Biello and Dan Martin).

"Echoes of Etta", the multi award-winning Etta James musical tribute, is back home in New York City at Joe's Pub, with two performances, July 31st and August 1st, at 7 pm for their first LIVE IN-CONCERT recording. After a featured appearance on the NBC Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a successful tour of Southeast Asia, and an exclusive appearance at the Commissioner's Tailgate Party for Super Bowl XLVIII, MRM Productions is proud to bring back William Blake and Michael Thomas Murray in the Manhattan Association of Cabarets' (MAC) 2014 "Show of the Year".

Michelle Dowdy (Hairspray, A Brass Act) will come aboard Mostly Sondheim as resident co-host for the month of July. Dowdy, whose recent solo show has dazzled audiences at 54 Below and The Metropolitan Room, joins host Colleen Harris and Musical Director Drew Wutke.

Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera gets its NY premiere as it kicks-off the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) this July. Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera has a concept, book and lyrics by Elizabeth Searle, music by Michael Teoli, and will be directed by David Alpert (If/ Then), with musical direction by Henry Aronson (Rock of Ages), and choreography by Marc Kimelman (A Bronx Tale). Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera will play at the PTC Performing Space (555 West 42nd St.) from tonight, July 9, through July 16, 2015.

Award-winning playwright and cult downtown comic, Andrea Alton returns to the New York International Fringe Festival with an all new multi-character solo show, Possum Creek. 

The New York International Fringe Festival and CitySalt Theatricals present The Crack in the Ceiling starring Josh Grisetti* (It Shoulda Been You). Performances begin Saturday August 15th at 8:30pm at The Lynn Redgrave Theatre (Venue #13) - 45 Bleeker Street. Created and written by James Harvey with direction by Stephen Tyler Davis.

Downtown cult favorite, Molly 'Equality' Dykeman is back with an all new show. Molly Dykeman's F*cked Up Family Reunion will premiere at Dixon Place's HOT Festival on Monday, July 20 at 7:30 pm. 

Whether she is lending her luminescent soprano to Broadway melodies, keenly reinterpreting contemporary folk and rock songs, or crooning jazz favorites in her warm alto range, singer Julie Benko possesses the rare vocal dexterity of range and genre that defines a true musical chameleon. Known for her sparkling tone, buttery phrasing, and adept storytelling, this longtime member of New York City's theatrical community momentarily steps off the Broadway stage (where she regularly appears in Les Miserables) and launches into the jazz world, bringing her unique fusion of melodic expressiveness and introspective clarity to the Cornelia Street Cafe on Sunday, August 2nd at 8:30 PM.

The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter, begins tonight, July 1, on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter.

Between Us Productions will present the World Premiere of Sander Gusinow's The Fairer Sex, directed by Samantha Lee Manas. It begins performances on July 27th and will celebrate its opening night on July 28 and run through August 2nd at Theatre Row Studio Theatre. Tickets are $18 and available at www.Telecharge.com. The Muny presents Hairspray, winner of the 2003 Tony Award for Best Musical, featuring music by Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman with a book by Mark O'Donnell & Thomas Meehan. The Muny's production of Hairspray is directed and choreographed by Dan Knechtges and music directed by Charlie Alterman.
