NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, July 26, at 3pm. Performers include Gerry Mastrolia, Nathan Chang and Sue Matsuki. Gas Lamp Academy of Performing Arts Teen's production of URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL will be the "Young Musician Moment" spotlight.

Gerry Mastrolia hails from North Jersey and has been performing in Musical Theatre since the age of 9. Some of his favorite roles include... Edna (Hairspray), Horton (Seussical), John Brooke (Little Women) and Jason Willette in Rabbit Hole, just to name a few. Currently, he is working on "Zombie Wedding", a new interactive show and he works as the Production Coordinator for NiCori Studios & Productions.

Most recently seen as Lord Farquaad in Gas Lamp Players production of "SHREK", under the direction of Corinna Sowers Adler. He starred in his debut solo cabaret show, "Me, Myself & Goldie", which played the legendary Don't Tell Mama NYC and Paul Colbys, The Bitter End. Participated in the "New York's Next Top Drag Queen" contest at the Metropolitan Room and concluded as a Finalist. Also hosted a portion of the Marathon Variety Show at the Metropolitan Room which featured continuous entertainment for 60 hours straight. Gerry was on CBS The Couch & E! News for his work in the Off-Broadway show, "Totally Tubular Time Machine".

Nathan Chang is over the moon to be a part of the Music at the Mansion series! As a self-proclaimed writer of "silly songs", his music has garnered him a Bistro Award, a MAC award nomination and he has had the honor to perform his work at Jazz at Lincoln Center for the 25th Annual Cabaret Convention. Silliness wins! Apart from songwriting and cabaret, Nathan is also a sketch comedy writer and is currently in production for the second season of his sketch comedy web series "Chitty Chitty Bailey Chang" which can be found on the YouTube. All in all, Nathan doesn't sleep, but he's very happy and has a very full heart.


Sue Matsuki is a 10-time MAC Award Nominee/3 time recipient (in 6 different categories). Her "wins" were for: Female Jazz Vocalist; Special Productions for 10 Years in the Making and for Specialty Song, "One Stop Shopping" by Matsuki/Toroian/Page. The other nominated categories were: Duo/Group; Female Vocalist; and Recording. She was the first Julie Wilson Award Recipient given by the Mabel Mercer Foundation.


Sue has played every NYC Cabaret room including Feinstein's, Metropolitan Room, Arci's Place, Town Hall, The Algonquin, 54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, 88's, and The Duplex and legendary jazz clubs: The Village Gate, Birdland, The Iridium and Sweet Rhythm. Her debut CD, A New Take was voted as one of 2007's "Top 10 CDs of All Time"! Her original song, "A Christmas Angel", written with Musical Director Paul Stephan, is featured on folk singer, Christine Lavin's Just One Angel CD. Sue is also a reviewer, producer, teacher, host and songwriter.


"Music at the Mansion" is a 2012 MAC award nominated series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers-Adler and will feature Deborah Martin on piano. Series hostess, Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards.

Sowers-Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center this past October. She recently nominated for the Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Tickets for "Music at the Mansion" are $10 per person and are available at the door. Seating begins at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
