Normal Ave Productions, a dynamic new theatre company, is celebrating it's one year anniversary by launching The Hashtag Series: In Concert. Normal Ave believes in 'Redefining Normal', taking moments from our everyday lives and reexamining them.

On the latest episode of 'The Set List' podcast, director/writer/producer Robbie Rozelle sits down with Victor Legra to talk about his solo cabaret debut "Songs From Inside My Locker". Cabaret Artists Chad M. Ryan and Brooke M. Haney's first collaborative endeavor, Brooke and Chad Are… Just as Gay as You. (A Queer Cabaret of Chaos and Clarity), premieres this year during Pride Week on Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30 pm at the Duplex. Created by Haney and Ryan from their combined personal "GAY" experiences, the show explores the themes of queerness and identity and the unlikely friendship between a Gay man and a Queer woman, all under their shared love of music and storytelling. Filled with chaotic  humour, truth telling vulnerability and occasional crisp clarity, the evening is sure to be a 'gay ol time.'  The duo has also partnered with Shining Hope for Communities to raise money and build awareness for Margaret's Safe Place, a project of Shining Hope. To that end, a portion of the proceeds from every ticket will go to support Shining Hope.

Jason B. Schmidt, premiere Bea Arthur aficionado, brings his one woman show Beatrice Arthur: ASTRAL DAME back to NYC for one night only, Tuesday June 13th at 7pm.

'BOY CRAZY: A-CHOOSE-YOUR-OWN-ADVENTURE-MUSICAL' returns to The Duplex Cabaret and Piano Bar on June 4, 2017 at 9:30pm

THE INTREPID SEA, AIR, & SPACE MUSEUM (Fleet Week) will be hosting the production of Natalie Lovejoys' DEPLOYED: A NEW MUSICAL IN CONCERT. This celebrated new production will perform selections from the show at the INTREPID MUSEUM, Pier 86, W 46th St and 12th Ave, New York, NY 10036 on Sunday, May 28 at 1:30pm & 4:30pm.

The Duplex, NYC's historic cabaret theater, presents Guilty Pleasures Cabaret in 'School's Out' on Friday June 2nd, 2017 at 9:30pm.

Justin Sayre is calling the final editions of THE MEETING* to order. For eight seasons, over seven-and-a-half years, he has led the International Order of Sodomites---the IOS for short---as the Chairman of the "centuries-old organization promoting the lives and legacies of the LGBTQIA community." The final two shows of the acclaimed comedy/variety show, set for Sunday, May 14 at 7:00 and 9:30 pm at Joe's Pub, have long sold out. Yet they'll be broadcast online via Joe's Pub Livestream, with Sayre also taking over the Joe's Pub Instagram account that same day. Before he flew over from Los Angeles for those final shows, we spoke with Justin over the phone about what THE MEETING* has meant to him over the years, why it's time to call it quits, and what's next.

Local McDonald's Owner Operator, PJ Fonseca is proud to announce the kick-off of a new summer music series featuring award-winning pianist Darius Frowner, along with talented local singers performing pop, jazz and show tunes. Performances will be held every Friday in May, beginning at 7:30pm, at the newly-remodeled McDonald's restaurant at 809 Sixth Avenue in New York. Opening night, May 5, will feature local singers Brittany Dorazio, Morgan Reilly and Logan Farine.

On May 29th at 7pm, James Roberts IV returns to The Duplex with a stripped down collection of original tunes and soulful covers.
