Out of the Box Theatrics to Present WHICH COMES FIRST: THE MUSIC AND LYRICS OF MATT AND MATTE
Producing artistic director Elizabeth Flemming, Out of the Box Theatrics and Justin Nichols present Which Comes First: The Music and Lyrics of Matt and Matte , at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street @7th Ave, NYC, NY 10014), on June 26th.

Matte O'Brien and Matt Vinson are New York based music theatre writers whose eclectic style melds an emotional fusion of folk, rock, soul, and Broadway pop. For this special fundraiser to support Out of the Box Theatrical, Matt and Matte, along with some friends, will perform their original songs, including material from their upcoming collaborations: An epic-folk reimagining of L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables and the pop-rock opera CAKE. The evening also features songs from their musical Peter & I , which previously enjoyed a sold-out Off-Broadway run at the American Theatre of Actors as part of the Araca Project.
