Jason B. Schmidt, premiere Bea Arthur aficionado, brings his one woman show Beatrice Arthur: ASTRAL DAME back to NYC for one night only, Tuesday June 13th at 7pm. After several bows in Manhattan, Schmidt has taken America's most sardonic and sassy golden gal to Asbury Park, NJ, Portland OR and soon Philadelphia, PA. This return engagement celebrates two years since the show's inception and first performance in April of 2015.

Through a clever online video competition titled #BeABosomBuddy, Schmidt auditioned potential guest acts to co-star in the show. The two winners of that contest, Jeremy Wilson (aka Ophelia Nightbird) and Andy Crosten will team up with Beatrice on stage at The Duplex Cabaret on June 13th. They join the illustrious ranks of previous bosom buddies Vodka Stinger, Sutton Lee Seymour, Sasha Pierce Davenport, Candy Samples, Ann Bonner, Jillian Harris Snow, Marti Gould Cummings and Pete Haas.

Expect Bea's most favorite show tunes, along with a few new surprises that only she can deliver! It's an out of this world evening of comedy, quips, and everything Bea!

Beatrice Arthur: ASTRAL DAME is directed by Amy Anders Corcoran, with music direction by Mason Griffin.

Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door with a 2 drink minimum and can be purchased here: www.purplepass.com/AstralDame613.
