New York City Ballet announced that four of the Company’s dancers -- Emilie Gerrity, Isabella LaFreniere, Roman Mejia, and Mira Nadon -- have been promoted from Soloists to Principal Dancers.  

New York City Ballet Principal Dancer HARRISON BALL will give his final performance with New York City Ballet on Sunday, April 30, performing in George Balanchine’s Haiff Divertimento and Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun.

CRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet, will be a guest artist in the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet’s production of Snow White dancing the role of the Prince.

After the occasionally muddy narrative in their tired Nutcracker, this is a Swan Lake with clear, emotional storytelling and magical choreography.

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 Season continues with The Puccini Duo: a double-bill of the tragic Suor Angelica and the witty comic opera Gianni Schicchi on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances. Additional performances are February 14, 17, and 19 (matinee), 2023. All evening performances take place at 7:30 PM, matinees at 2 PM.

Houston Contemporary Dance Company will continue its fourth Season with an intimate performance of DUE at Heights Ironworks.

In its fifth official installment, ABT Incubator, American Ballet Theatre's in-house choreographic program, is scheduled for January 3-13, 2023. During the two-week workshop, selected choreographers will create new works on ABT dancers. The resulting pieces will be presented on January 13, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. EST at the Schimmel Center at Pace University's New York City campus. This will be the first time ABT Incubator will be presented for live public viewing.

There’s not much to say about Wayne Ealing’s 2010 Nutcracker from English National Ballet that has not already been said. What an absolute honour it was to watch The United Ukrainian Ballet’s production of Swan Lake. The experience truly felt like a moment in history. This production of Swan Lake not only allows audiences to reconnect with a beloved ballet favourite, but to also see the story’s themes through the lens of the current situation in Ukraine.

CRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet, will appear as a guest artist in the role of the Snow King, in Ballet Arts' production of The Nutcracker on December 9, 10 & 11, 2022.   The performances will take place at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee.              

As Associate Artistic Director, Mr. Ross will work in close collaboration with Mr. Boal to implement and advance PNB’s artistic vision, and consult on all artistic matters including programming, hiring, and casting. He will also provide oversight for PNB’s special projects such as Next Step, PNB Dance Film Festival, and digital programming. As part of his new appointment, Mr. Ross will continue to co-lead PNB’s I.D.E.A. (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) committee.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) Artistic Director Susan Jaffe has signed five new dancers to the company roster for PBT's 2022-2023 Season. The season opens Oct. 7-9, with Storytelling in Motion at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.
