Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters will host the 15th annual BROADWAY BARKS!, a star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, sponsored by the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and additional sponsorship by the New York Times, BARKS will take place on Saturday, July 13 in Shubert Alley, the heart of the Broadway Theater District (located between 44th and 45thStreets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenues). The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m.; celebrity presentations of pets from animal shelters citywide will take place between 5-6:30 p.m. This year, BARKS will open the show with a performance from the Jersey Boysfollowed by the Broadway debut of many adoptable animals presented by many stars from this season's 'hottest' shows. In addition, Peters will be in Shubert Alley with famed illustrator/ author, Hilary Knight, the designer of this year's BARKS poster and Playbill cover. ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 11, 2013 PRNewswire/ SkyWest, Inc., (SKYW) ('SkyWest') today reported that passenger boardings for June increased 2.9 percent to 5,441,225 compared to 5,289,995 for the same period last year. SkyWest also reported a 5.5 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for June, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 5.2 percent compared to June 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.8 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.4 billion. Load factor increased to 83.7 percent compared to 83.5 percent in June 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 0.8 percent in departures to 126,350 for June compared to 125,345 for the same period last year.
