This year, Theatr Clwyd renew their collaboration with Paines Plough to co-produce the Roundabout Season. As part of Theatr Clwyd's TYFU programme and their commitment to becoming a home for writers in Wales, they are inviting three Welsh language writers to work alongside the Roundabout company. Each writer will develop a 10-minute script that will be performed in the Roundabout when the season opens at Theatr Clwyd.

Executive Director Betty Beekman will depart National Theatre of the Deaf, effective February 16, 2018, after a successful 35-year association with the widely acclaimed company. Beekman will be exploring new creative opportunities in the theatre.
It was announced today (Friday 2 February 2018) that Mel Giedroyc will join the cast of Elliott & Harper's highly anticipated new production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Tony award-winning musical, Company, directed by Marianne Elliott. It will run at the Gielgud Theatre from 26 September 2018 for a limited run.
PITTSBURGH CLO is pleased to welcome a collection of writing teams from across the country to Pittsburgh for the inaugural SPARK festival in March. These teams were chosen from a highly-selective submissions process and will have the opportunity to rehearse and revise their work in residencies ranging from two days to three weeks. SPARK will provide dramaturgy and production resources to 10 new musicals at all stages of development, in addition to the world premiere of UP AND AWAY. As a part of the development period, eight of the musicals will receive public presentations through which the writing teams can gather audience insights and focus their intentions for the next phase of development. A major initiative of Pittsburgh CLO's recently completed Next Generation Capital Campaign, SPARK is designed to cultivate new and innovative work from emerging and established musical theater artists.
