Kwame Kwei-Armah's LET THERE BE LOVE Begins at A.C.T. Today

Continuing its 2014-15 season, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) presents Let There Be Love, an intimate and disarmingly honest play from Kwame Kwei-Armah, one of England's most distinguished contemporary playwrights.

92Y to Welcome ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY's Kristin Chenoweth & Peter Gallagher

Tony & Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth and Golden Globe, SAG Award winner & Tony nominee Peter Gallagher, currently starring on Broadway in On the Twentieth Century, will participate in a 92Y Talks Lecture Series at 92nd Street Y on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 7:30pm. This one-night event will feature the stars in conversation, trading intimate stories of balancing their incredibly varied careers-in theater, film, TV and music-and their lives outside the limelight.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today five of the seven productions that will comprise the lineup of the company's 49th subscription season, including the West Coast premiere of Will Eno's inventive new comedy, The Realistic Joneses; OBIE Award winner John Douglas Thompson in Terry Teachout's Satchmo at the Waldorf; the groundbreaking new musical, The Unfortunates; Eugene O'Neill's classic comedy, Ah, Wilderness!; and the world premiere of Monstress, a theatrical adaptation of short stories by San Francisco author Lysley Tenorio.

Inside Broadway & ON THE TOWN to Welcome 3,000 Students for 'Creating the Magic' Next Month

Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser has announced that on Thursday, March 5, the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) will be visited by thousands of NYC public school students as the theatre arts and education organization presents its popular program Creating the Magic. Featuring the cast and production crew of the Broadway musical ON THE TOWN, the 80 minute program will be offered at 10:45am and 1:15pm.
