BWW Reviews: Terri White Is Once Again Terrific As She Scores With New Show at 54 Below

A year ago this summer (July 31, to be exact), Terri White performed a one-off show at 54 Below that was so stirring in its show-woman ship she was voted the winner of the 2013 BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Award for 'Best One-Show Special Event.' Based on the Broadway and nightclub veteran's performance in her recent June 22 show at the same club, White should be a candidate to pick up the award once again this year. Maybe it's time to just call her, 'Terri Terrific.'

On Sunday May 18 at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal phenomenal Broadway singer Terri White brought down the house with her all new cabaret show Two Score with musical direction by the incomparable Bryan Miller. The slightly under one hour set marked the second appearance, by popular demand, of the singer, whose versatility, powerhouse vocal instrument, striking sense of humor and unbeatable warmth place her among the great night club performers of all time. There isn't anything she can't do. She's acted, sung, danced...played an instrument? Well, she gives even that her very best shot in Two Score.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents Baseball Swing with the All Star Baseball Jazz Band, co-commissioned and co-produced with the Baseball Music Project and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. With a cast featuring Terron Brooks, Angela Pupello, Terri White, Fred Willard and Adrian Zmed, Baseball Swing, a part of the Jack Elliott Family Concert Series, will have four performances only April 4-6, 2014, in the Bram Goldsmith Theater.
