Washington Performing Arts has announce its 2023/24 Season with the theme of Together in Art and Community, running from September 2023 through June 2024 in nine venues across the Washington, D.C., region.

The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning series of live high-definition cinema simulcasts, presents Mozart's DIE ZAUBERFLOTE on Saturday, June 3 at 12:55 pm ET, in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.

As Carnegie Hall’s 2022–2023 season draws to a close, The Met Orchestra returns to Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage to perform two concerts under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin, both showcasing internationally acclaimed vocalists who have been featured on The Metropolitan Opera stage.

The Music Center has announced an electrifying lineup of global music artists for its third annual Summer SoundWaves outdoor summer concert series. From Tropical Latin and Afro-Mexican rhythms to West African beats and Jazz Fusion, The Music Center's Summer SoundWaves will bring the heat to The Music Center all summer long.

The 2023 US edition of Jazztopad, from June 23-30, will feature a series of commissions from the acclaimed Lutosławski Quartet in collaboration with jazz piano luminaries Craig Taborn and Uri Caine, EMMY-winning composer Don Davis and sought-after bassist and composer Michael Bates. Rhode Island College's Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts will present ART SONG TO ARIA featuring RIC's Artist-in-Residence Judith Lynn Stillman, pianist, with GRAMMY Award-winning, Metropolitan Opera superstar baritone Will Liverman in his first appearance in Rhode Island, on Sunday, June 4th at 3pm.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced jazz programming running May 15 through May 28.

On Friday, June 23, 2023, baritone Tyler Duncan and pianist Erika Switzer will release A Left Coast on Bridge Records. Seven-time GRAMMY winner, two-time Oscar nominee, trumpeter and composer Terence Blanchard will receive the George Peabody Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Music and Dance in America and will address the graduates during the Peabody Conservatory’s 2023 Graduation ceremonies on Wednesday, May 24.
