Last night, 54 Below celebrated some of the most memorable show-stopping musical moments from Broadway. The show featured some of Broadway's greatest stars, including Tony nominee Carolee Carmello (Parade, Mamma Mia!, Kiss Me, Kate, The Addams Family, Sister Act, Scandalous), Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked, In the Heights, Dance of the Vampires, Aida), Telly Leung (Godspell, Wicked, Rent, Flower Drum Song, Glee), Robert Creighton (Little Me, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Anything Goes) and Kissy Simmons (The Lion King). More than 400 guests joined two dozen celebrities and dignitaries at the annual Point Honors gala on April 7, which celebrated the accomplishments of Point Foundation (Point) scholarship recipients. Dr. Neal Baer, the Executive Producer and Showrunner for acclaimed television programs such as 'ER' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' and 'Under The Dome,' received the Point Leadership Award, and Lena Dunham, the Golden Globe Winner and Emmy Nominated Actress and Producer of HBO's 'Girls,' accepted the Point Horizon Award.

Point Foundation (Point) will present its Horizon Award to Lena Dunham, the Golden Globe Winner and Emmy Nominated Actress and Producer of HBO's 'Girls.' The Point Horizon Award recognizes a young trailblazer who has taken a leadership role as an advocate of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community showing unwavering support.

Los Angeles's exciting live, music performance space Rockwell: Table & Stage just welcomed Broadway & TV's Telly Leung (Broadway's GODSPELL, GLEE, RENT, WICKED) performing an electrifying evening of songs and personal anecdotes. Special guest performers at the one-night only show included Broadway & Television's Kate Reinders (ABC's WORK IT, Lifetime's SHERRI, WICKED). 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Telly Leung, Ruthie Ann Miles, & more in Tiananmen: A New Musical In Concert on March 27. Tiananmen is an original rock musical that follows the story of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests in Beijing.

Celebrate some of the most memorable musical moments from Broadway, featuring stars of some of Broadway's biggest hit musicals, when Mayo Performing Arts Center presents Broadway Showstoppers! on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 8 pm. Tickets are $29-49.

On March 7th, Reno Little Theater will welcome Telly Leung as a Guest Teaching Artist. Telly is being brought to us by Studio 7Arts and will be teaching selections from Rent, Godspell and additional shows he has performed in on Broadway, as well as selections from the television show Glee which he appeared on as Wes, a member of the Dalton Warblers. In addition to learning material that Telly brings, we encourage students to bring their book of songs or monologues. The Broadway-aimed musical Allegiance, currently starring George Takei, Lea Salonga, and Telly Leung, has created a Priority Access Pass to give more theatregoers a chance to see the production. The show premiered at San Diego's The Old Globe in September 2012 and quickly sold out, leaving many fans without a chance to see the show at all. A fan who purchases a Priority Access Pass for $5.00 is guaranteed a reserved and numbered spot on a list of theatregoers who get first shot at purchasing tickets when they go on sale - ahead of the general public.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre will present the fourth annual 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' on Monday, June 16. The Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan). Called 'a rambunctious, uproarious, unpredictable all-star concert' by The Wall Street Journal, 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' will honor the iconic Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her legendary career as movie star, recording artist and stage performer. This show will also help celebrate the landmark 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM. Broadway and Television's Telly Leung (Godspell, Rent, Wicked, Glee) returns to San Diego for a special Valentine's Day Eve show tonight, February 13 at 8 pm at Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage entitled, 'Telly Leung: The Ups & Downs of Love.'

For a truly gifted musical theater genius, WICKED's composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz is picture-perfect as the laidback, generous, fun-loving avuncular figure that is the embodiment of all the high-spirited uncles that you've had as a kid growing up. Schwartz, comfortably (and most suitably for the occasion) clad in a black and green sports shirt, dressed-down gray jeans, well-loved sneakers, and seeming much more like the genial 'Wizard of Oz' than the green-skinned 'Elphaba' (which ironically, he admits, he is more like the latter), was the defining image of easy composure. Ready to bigheartedly answer questions from a select few media representatives, he cheerfully made his entrance onto the plush, intimately-set ambience of the conference room prepared by Concertus Manila and co-sponsor Diamond Hotel Tuesday, February 4.
