E! announced today the list of presenters set to take the stage to hand out the only awards voted on by the people at “The E! People's Choice Awards” on Sunday, November 11. The event, which will feature unique fan experiences and a variety of surprises throughout the show, will broadcast live across the cable networks of NBCUniversal, including Bravo, E!, SYFY, Universo, and USA Network, and will air in 161 countries.
E!'s newest late night topical series “Busy Tonight,” hosted by actress, The New York Times Best Selling author, and social media sensation, Busy Philipps, will broadcast live this Sunday, November 11th at 11:00p ET/PT for a special episode immediately following “The E! People's Choice Awards,” the only award show for the people, by the people, at 9:00p ET/PT. Joined by “Busy Tonight” Executive Producer Tina Fey, the 30-minute live late night show will break down the biggest show moments and award wins from the must-see event celebrating movies, television, music, and pop culture. Busy and team will also present the award to the winner of one of the brand new PCA categories, “The Revival Show of 2018,” live on “Busy Tonight.” Nominees include “American Idol,” “Queer Eye,” “Dynasty,” “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” and “One Day at a Time.” Additionally, actor and comedian Tom Lenk will judge the “Busy Tonight” team as they attempt to recreate the most memorable looks of the night using household items.

On Monday, October 22, The Groundlings will launch a spooky new episode of their hilarious sketch comedy online video series, Groundlings Originals. The Halloween-themed episode titled "Take One" follows mama bear, Tanya Jones, as she does whatever it takes to get her son some candy. The episode titled, 'Batsh*t Valley,' will headline Season 52's seven-episode lineup, with both parts premiering back-to-back on Wednesday February 20 at 10PM. Documentary Now! is co-created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers and Rhys Thomas and executive produced by Lorne Michaels.
DOC NYC, America's largest documentary festival, announced the full lineup for its ninth edition, running November 8-15 at the IFC Center in Greenwich Village and Chelsea's SVA Theatre and Cinepolis Chelsea. The 2018 festival includes 135 feature-length documentaries among over 300 films and events overall. Included are 42 world premieres and 17 U.S. or North American premieres, with more than 500 doc makers and special guests expected in person to present their films or participate on panels.

The Film Arcade today announced it has secured the US rights to the hilarious heart-warming comedy, FAMILY, written and directed by Laura Steinel. The film premiered at SXSW 2018 and stars Taylor Schilling ( Netflix's “Orange is the New Black”), Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”), Jessie Ennis (LIFE OF THE PARTY) and newcomer Bryn Vale. Additional cast includes Matt Walsh (HBO's “Veep”), Allison Tolman (“Fargo”) and Eric Edelstein (JURASSIC WORLD). FAMILY is set to be released theatrically by The Film Arcade in Spring 2019.
The Groundlings Theatre has announced that Groundlings and SNL alumna, Julia Sweeney's brand new solo show, I, As Well, at The Gary Austin Theatre at The Groundlings School. The show opens on Sunday, September 16th, with six other scheduled performances to follow.
