LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS announces that the sold-out production starring Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard and Christian Borle has released eight additional weeks of tickets, now on sale through Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd St, NYC).

Little Shop of Horrors is headed back to New York!

Audiences are getting ready to head to Skid Row this fall! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's classic sci-fi musical Little Shop of Horrors is returning to New York at The Westside Theatre, with previews beginning September 17th and opening night set for October 17th. The production is set to run for a limited engagement through November 24th.

Jonathan Demar will make his Green Room 42 debut on November 10th at 7pm with an all new version of his solo show Setting the Standard.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS announces that Tony Award nominee Gideon Glick (To Kill A Mockingbird, Significant Other) will join the cast of the production for two weeks only, from Tuesday, November 5 a?" Sunday, November 17, while original star Jonathan Groff is on a scheduled leave from the production.

You may have heard of the long journey of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS from a 1060 Roger Corman horror film (with a young Jack Nicholson) to a 1982 Off-Broadway hit musical, a 1986 film with Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, and Steve Martin, and a revival in 2003 this time on Broadway with Hunter Foster, Douglas Sills and Kerry Butler. And believe it or not, another revival coming to Off-Broadway previewing on September 17 and opening October 17 to the Westside Theatre Upstairs with Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard, Christian Borle, and Kinglsey Leggs.

Tony Award-winning producers Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens, Hunter Arnold, Mickey Liddell, Curt Cronin and John Joseph, have just announced that Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's landmark musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will return to its Off-Broadway…roots…this fall. Two-time Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, Spring Awakening, 'Mindhunter') will play Seymour in the long-awaited revival, opposite Emmy Award winner Tammy Blanchard (Life with Judy Garland, Gypsy) as Audrey, and Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten!, Falsettos) as Orin Scrivello D.D.S. Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, American Idiot), the production begins previews Tuesday, September 17, with an official opening night of Thursday, October 17, at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd St). USA Network announced a series pickup for Dare Me from UCP in association with Film 44. Based on the acclaimed novel by Megan Abbott, who serves as writer and executive producer along with Gina Fattore (Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, Californication”), Dare Me is an unflinching exploration of teen angst, jealousy, loyalty, and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern town. Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights) and Michael Lombardo of Film 44, Sarah Condon and Karen Rosenfelt executive produce. Netflix will co-produce and have first-run rights to the series outside of the U.S.

Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired Worldwide rights to the supernatural mystery/thriller BEYOND THE NIGHT, the directorial debut from writer/director Jason Noto (“Addiction: A 60's Love Story”). Breaking Glass acquired rights to the film in a deal negotiated between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff, and producer Robin Garvick on behalf of NewAley Pictures, Summerhawk Films, and Reckless Productions.The film will open theatrically in Los Angeles in early January, followed by a DVD & VOD release in the first quarter of 2019.
