Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced the upcoming 23/24 Season: Greater Wonders. The 23/24 Season opens with the long-awaited production of EVITA. 

Syracuse Stage Artistic Director Robert Hupp and Managing Director Jill Anderson announced the next production in their 2022/2023 season, and it’s one for the ages. Thornton Wilder’s cherished and frequently produced play, Our Town, runs Wednesday, March 29 through Sunday, April 16 at Syracuse Stage in the Archbold Theatre. Robert Hupp will direct the production.

Center Repertory Company will present Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning SWEAT, directed by acclaimed actor/director Elizabeth Carter.

The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the presentation of the Alley Theatre’s Born With Teeth by Liz Duffy Adams, directed by Rob Melrose. Born With Teeth will play March 4 – April 2 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

United Solo Theater Festival will present the premiere production of 'Ann and Me: or The Big Bad Abortion Play', a solo play written and performed by Jessica Bashline and directed by Margaret M. Ledford on March 15, 2023 at 8:30PM at Theater Row Studios.

Originally performed solo by Smith, “Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992” has been reimagined for a cast of five performers. Thirty years after its world premiere, Center Theatre Group will celebrate the West Coast premiere of the revised production by giving away 1,000 tickets to Angelenos.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that single tickets are now on sale for the bonus fourth Mainstage production, Sammy & Me, written by and starring Eric Jordan Young and written and directed by Wendy Dann. Sammy & Me will be performed at Bay Street Theater in rep with Master Class, Monday, August 14, through Sunday, August 20.

The design team has been announced for the all-new production of the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical The Wiz. The Wiz will launch a national tour in Fall of 2023 in Baltimore, MD before returning to Broadway for a limited engagement in the 2023/24 season. Theatre for a New Audience  presents EXPERIMENTAL WORKSHOPS/EXPLORING THE HISTORIES.  Performances run January 26-February 5, 2023.

Ensemble Theatre Company (ETC) begins the new year with the third show of its 2022-23 Season, the suspenseful thriller, SELLING KABUL, written by Sylvia Khoury and directed by Nike Doukas.

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 Season continues with The Puccini Duo: a double-bill of the tragic Suor Angelica and the witty comic opera Gianni Schicchi on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances. Additional performances are February 14, 17, and 19 (matinee), 2023. All evening performances take place at 7:30 PM, matinees at 2 PM.

The winners have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Central New York Awards, honoring the best in regional productions, touring shows, and more which had their first performance between October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.

Next up at Syracuse Stage is Espejos: Clean, written by Christine Quintana and performed in both English and Spanish with respective supertitles simultaneously, running February 15 to March 5, 2023. In cooperation with Hartford Stage, Espejos: Clean is directed by Syracuse Stage Associate Artistic Director Melissa Crespo both in Hartford, CT and Syracuse, NY.

Hartford Stage will present the New England premiere of the bilingual drama Espejos: Clean written by Christine Quintana with Spanish translation and adaptation by Paula Zelaya Cervantes. 

This January, Hedgerow Theatre Company kicks off its 100th Anniversary with a one-night only engagement performed by and directed by Hedgerow legends. Broadway favorite Austin Pendleton and Hedgerow's award-winning Artistic Director Emeritus Penelope Reed team up to perform a one-night only engagement of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters with celebrated director William Roudebush on Saturday, January 7 at 7 pm.
