TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced its 53rd season to be presented October 2023 through June 2024.

What did our critic think of OUR TOWN at Syracuse Stage? The Syracuse Stage production of Our Town celebrates the 125th anniversary of the birth of Thornton Wilder. One might think a play written in 1938 would be irrelevant for an audience in the 21st century. But it is important to remember that the world at that time faced a severe worldwide economic downturn, the danger of impending war, strong political division, rising nationalism and rapid technological advancement. Given that these problems plague us today, Our Town is especially meaningful in our time.

The 2023/2024 six-production season runs Sept. 13, 2023, to May 19, 2024, and features What the Constitution Means to Me, Thunder Knocking on The Door, A Christmas Carol, Clyde's and Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express.

The Public Theater will present the return of the theater’s acclaimed MOBILE UNIT with a free touring production of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS.

Coachella Valley Repertory closes its 2022-2023 Season with the irreverent and hilarious five-time Tony®Award nominee and winner of Best New Play HAND TO GOD by Robert Askin. The NY Times called HAND TO GOD a 'darkly delightful play.' Audiences will laugh and, perhaps, wonder if they shouldn't be quite so totally entertained. It is truly a wild and wonderful ride! HAND TO GOD OPENS runs March 28-April 9. Craig Wells returns to CVRep to direct, set design is by Jimmy Cuomo, costumes by Emma Bibo, lighting design by Moira Wilke and the stage manager is John M. Galo. Puppets are by Ryan Marquart and Thomas Mitchell.

Northlight Theatre will continue its 2022–2023 season with The Porch on Windy Hill: a new play with old music by Sherry Lutken, Lisa Helmi Johanson, Morgan Morse and David M. Lutken, conceived and directed by Sherry Lutken.  

Tennesee Williams St. Louis presents The Brass Menagerie, starring Amy Jo Jackson runs May 31 through June 1 at 7:30 PM at The Curtain Call Lounge.

Casting has been announced for Goodspeed Musical's upcoming production of Gypsy, which begins performances April 28th in East Haddam, Connecticut. 

RED BULL THEATER and FIASCO THEATER have announced the cast for The Knight of the Burning Pestle opening April 27th at the newly renovated Lucille Lortel Theatre. 

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's Fannie: The Music and Life of Fannie Lou Hamer will run through April 2, 2023 at Lucie Stern Theatre. Greta Oglesby, who starred in last season’s critically acclaimed Gem of the Ocean, reunites with TheatreWorks Artistic Director Tim Bond, who will direct this stirring musical play about the famed civil rights activist.
