Michigan's 2013-14 professional theater season was a tempestuous one, an even more unsettled year than usual for the state's theaters. So perhaps it was appropriate that this year's Wilde Awards were the 13th annual edition.

Performance Network Theatre presents its most titillating show of the season, "Venus in Fur" by David Ives, on February 27 - April 6, 2014 starring Maggie Meyer and Sebastian Gerstner under the direction of Jennifer Graham as she makes her directorial debut at Performance Network. "Venus in Fur" is the most produced script of the 2013 - 2014 season in America, according to Theatre Communications Group, and was credited by the New York Times as, "Ninety minutes of good, kinky fun." This production is generously sponsored by two decadent Ann Arbor hotspots, The Earle Restaurant and The Raven's Club. Performance Network to Present JERRY'S GIRLS, 11/14-1/5

During the holiday season Performance Network Theatre presents a new take on the larger than life Broadway musical "Jerry's Girls", a revue of the work of Jerry Herman who wrote the music for shows such as "Hello, Dolly!", "La Cage Aux Folles", and "Mame". "Jerry's Girls" is directed by Carla Milarch and stars an all female cast including award-winning musical theatre actress, Naz Edwards, from November 14 - January 5, 2014 as well as a special New Year's Eve performance followed by a champagne toast at midnight. From the pen of the master of suspense, murder and mystery, comes a lesser produced play with the final unraveling of the mystery as only Agatha Christie can do. Director Joey Hellman's ensemble includes: Stephanie Marks, Mark Macaluso, Liz Armour, Elisa Dugan, Randy Dalmas, Tom Wyatt, Suzanne Young, Denis Latkowski, Brian Mellen and John Chrzanowski.
