Just last month, the National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) held its 2025 Gala Benefit celebrating the 50th Anniversary of A Chorus Line and honoring the role of “Connie Wong,” directed by the original “Connie Wong” Baayork Lee. Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, the East Coast's largest producer of Asian-American theatre, has announced it's 35th season which will include a newly re-envisioned production of one of their most successful original musicals, a world premiere of a new play, two new productions showcasing the talents of veteran Asian American artists and a developmental reading series of three new plays focusing on multi-cultural themes.
