The Warner Theatre Presents GOOD MORNING by Anne Lucas

The Warner Theatre will present the next production of the 9th Annual International Playwrights Festival - GOOD MORNING by Anne Lucas (MA) - from the Warner’s Nancy Marine Studio Theatre beginning Friday, January 15 at 7:00 pm.

The Studio Theatre Tierra del Sol Presents 9 to 5 THE MUSICAL

This month, The Studio Theatre™ Tierra del Sol (806 San Marino Drive, The Villages, FL) will open its first production of its fifth season, 9 to 5 The Musical, music & lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. The production will be staged at The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center (1051 Main Street, The Villages, FL). 

Steep Theatre Expands Ensemble

Steep Theatre will welcome several new members to its ensemble of artists. Laura Alcalá Baker, Debo Balogun, Chris Chmelik, Destini Huston, Omer Abbas Salem, and Joe Schermoly are Steep’s newest Ensemble Members. All six of these artists have played pivotal roles in Steep’s artistic development over the past several years, and the company is honored to have them involved in shaping the organization’s future.

Top 10 Plays Announced In The 10th Annual National Jewish Playwriting Contest

The Jewish Plays Project has announced the 10 finalists for the 10th Annual Jewish Playwriting Contest. Over 250 playwrights from forty states and eight countries submitted plays to the contest. This year, nine of the 10 finalist plays were written by women, the most in the JPP's history.

Eden Theater Company To Present THE KITCHEN PLAYS

Eden Theater Company will present three new one-act plays set in the kitchen, written by emerging NYC playwrights and created specifically for Zoom. Livestreamed performances will be on Friday February 5 at 8pm, Thursday, February 11 at 8pm, Friday, February 12  at 8pm Friday, February 19 at 8pm, and Saturday, February 20 at 8pm. Tickets ($10) are available for advance purchase at www.eventbrite.com/e/the-kitchen-plays-tickets-132670766835. The performance will run approximately 50 minutes, with no intermission.

Theater for the New City Presents Gary Morgenstein's A BLACK AND WHITE COOKIE

Ego Actus Theatre Company today announced it will still present Gary Morgenstein’s new drama A Black and White Cookie, but in an updated version that is set against the backdrop of New York City reopening, post-pandemic. The play will premiere on the On The Air series Saturday, January 16 at 7:30PM/ET, and Sunday, January 24 at 3PM/ET.
