Director Ava DuVernay and the stars of Disney's upcoming “A Wrinkle in Time,” Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Storm Reid, joined O, The Oprah Magazine's Gayle King (editor at large), Lucy Kaylin (editor in chief), Adam Glassman (creative director) and Jayne Jamison (publisher) for a special screening of the film hosted by the magazine last night at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center.

The stars of Disney's upcoming “A Wrinkle in Time,” Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Storm Reid, made a surprise appearance on stage at Disney California Adventure Park's Sneak Peek Theatre following an exclusive preview of the studio's upcoming epic adventure directed by Ava DuVernay. They later posed with “A Wrinkle in Time” fans in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park. The four stars also gave attendees a special “Tessering Ticket” that allowed them to get Disney FASTPASS access to several rides at the Disneyland Resort.

Yesterday brought an in-depth first look at the upcoming movie A Wrinkle in Time, based on the beloved Newbery winning novel by Madeleine L'Engle. The movie is directed by Ava DuVernay (Selma, 13th). The movie will hit theaters March 9, 2018. The story centers around Meg (played by newcomer Storm Reid), a girl brave enough to go on an intergallactic journey in a desperate search to find her father (Chris Pine). She's joined by her friend Calvin (Levi Miller) and brother Charles Wallace (Deric McCabe). The trio are sent on their way by three immortal, angelic-like beings, Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling), and Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey).
