Gordon Bahary Perform and Sign Debut CD UNBREAKABLE at Barnes & Noble in West Nyack Today, 9/13

Gordon Bahary, New York-based singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, has been making music for more than three decades. Now is he releasing his debut album. Unbreakable (Lasting Treasure), available digitally online as of Aug. 28th and in an exclusive deluxe version with three bonus tracks at Barnes & Noble (retail and online) on the same date, with CDs to follow, is the culmination of a lifetime's worth of creativity and innovation. Bahary will embark next month on his first-ever series of live performances, beginning in the Northeast. His first confirmed appearance is scheduled for the Barnes & Noble store in the Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Barnes & Noble edition of the album, available at all of Bahary's appearances, will feature bonus tracks unavailable elsewhere.

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, composer Marvin Hamlisch passed away Monday evening at 68 years old following a brief illness. Now according to the New York Times, funeral services have been announced. Visitation periods will take place at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel (1076 Madison Avenue, at 81st Street) on Sunday and Monday, 2-5 and 7-9. The funeral will take place 11am on Tuesday at Temple Emanu-El (1 East 65th Street). Both ethe funeral and visitations are open to the public.
