For four and a half decades, the music of Inti-Illimani has intoxicated audiences around the world. Performing on more than 30 wind, string and percussion instruments, they are a veritable institution, a cultural icon of their native Chile. With over 40 recordings to their name, Inti-Illimani has appeared on stage with Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Tracey Chapman, Youssou'n'Dour, Mercedes Sosa, Wynton Marsalis, and others.

Sting, Trudie Styler, Steve Martin, Ruben Blades, and Luba Mason have joined previously announced stars Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Amy Grant, and Vince Gill, for a benefit concert that showcases some of America's most talented families. Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) has just announced the release of the seventh album on its record label St. Luke's Collection: a live recording of Schoenberg and Riehn's masterful chamber arrangement of Gustav Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde. Washington National Opera (WNO) presents American baritone Nathan Gunn in concert as part of its Celebrity Series today, September 23 at 4 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Opera House. Accompanied by the WNO Orchestra under the baton of Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, Gunn will perform selections from operas by Mozart, Rossini, and Bizet, plus songs by Sondheim and other Broadway composers. JAM and SMG are combining to provide booking, advertising, marketing and promotional services, venue management and operational support for the Theatre.
