New Repertory Theatre, in collaboration with arsenalArts and Watertown Children's Theatre, revives its popular adaptation of Dickens' classic holiday story, which has all the trimmings of a lavish Victorian Christmas.

Orfeo Group Extends The Complete WOWS(A) to 8/22

Due to terrific audience response and attendance, Orfeo Group is now extending the run of 'The Complete WOWS(a)' until August 22nd. This 'matinee-less' extension will feature our 'OrFREEo' Free Thursdays, Free Student Fridays and two special Monday night performances on August 10th and 17th in addition to regular Saturday and Sunday evenings at 6:45pm.

Orfeo Group, is presenting a full day of FREE, family programming at Christian Herter Park on Sunday July 26th beginning at 10 AM. The day starts with a Kids4Kids performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream and includes musical performances by Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band (12PM) and singer-songwriter Thea Hendricks (6PM) as well as dance performances by friends of Monkeyhouse (2PM).

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced 38 national awardees at the 41st annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), April 14-18, 2009. The students from universities and colleges from across the United States secured their places at the national festival and the opportunity to earn awards, scholarships, and fellowships through their success at regional festivals in January and February 2009.

In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the year Galileo first turned his telescope upward and changed the way human beings thought of their place in the cosmos, Catalyst Collaborative @ MIT and Underground Railway Theater present Bertolt Brecht's The Life of Galileo! Playing Friday, April 10 through Sunday, May 17 at Central Square Theater, this production of The Life of Galileo, Brecht's widely acclaimed masterpiece of science theater, is translated by David Hare, directed by David Wheeler, and stars Boston area favorite Richard McElvain in the title role. Press night is set for Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 PM.
