Due to terrific audience response and attendance, Orfeo Group is now extending the run of "The Complete WOWS(a)" until August 22nd. This "matinee-less" extension will feature our "OrFREEo" Free Thursdays, Free Student Fridays and two special Monday night performances on August 10th and 17th in addition to regular Saturday and Sunday evenings at 6:45pm. "The summer is a busy time and many people have yet to see the show. We wanted to extend the opportunity to see the show to those who might have missed it or want to see it again. We also want to give folks another chance to check out some of the fantastic prelude acts," says Caleb Magoon one of the Co-Producer's of the show.

Audience Reaction to the Complete WOWS(a)

"I was crying, laughing so hard by intermission--lovely."

"Wonderful! What a treat! You made Willie fun."

"We had huge fun at the show and are back for a third time!"

Orfeo Group Continues "Preludes in the Park"

Orfeo Group's ambitious series of extension programming, coupled with BBQ and sunshine has received excellent reviews by all audiences. Beginning at 6:15PM before every performance of "The Complete WOWS(a)", Orfeo Group presents a Prelude during which local actors, directors, playwrights and arts groups will showcase their work. Fridays will feature improvisational performances by Improv Boston and Saturdays will feature children's programming provided by Arlington Children's Theatre, Stoneham Theatre's Kids4Kids, Rebel Shakespeare and others. Upcoming performances not to be missed include Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band, Improv Boston, and many more local theater companies.

"It's an exercise in community building," says Orfeo member Risher Reddick. "The show will be presented outdoors under natural light with food, drink and a vibrant social atmosphere."

Please check the calendar on Orfeo Group's website for more information. If you have further questions or want to get involved, please email Caleb Magoon at caleb@orfeogroup.org.

THE COMPLETE WORKS OF William Shakespeare (abridged) is directed by Steven Barkhimer and features Daniel Berger-Jones, Gabriel Kuttner, and Risher Reddick.

On FREE performance nights, tickets will be allotted on a first come first served basis one hour before show time. To reserve tickets for other performances, go to the Orfeo Website at www.orfeogroup.org or call 617-824-4215.
