Acclaimed jazz pianist Michael Wolff has confirmed new concerts in New Orleans and New York City, and both events will showcase and debut WOLFF & CLARK EXPEDITION, the new band he has formed with legendary drummer Mike Clark. The pair has played together for years, but it was Wolff's recent live album recording session at Vitello's in California that lead to the 'official' formation of their new group.

One of the most innovative and communal theater, music and video festivals in the country, this year's festival, titled 'SKETCHBOOK: Evolution,' features nine short plays and seven devised works, all eight minutes or less, inspired by the theme of ‘Evolution.' Saint Peter's Church will host the 2011 Prez Fest, honoring composer, arranger and pianist Gil Evans, on Sunday, March 13. Prez Fest is one of The Jazz Ministry at Saint Peter's Church's annual events. This year's festival will include a concert and a discussion of Evans' music.
