Third Man Records Announces Two Redd Kross Vinyl Reissues

Third Man Records is excited to announce reissues of Redd Kross' two beloved 1990s albums, Phaseshifter (1993) and Show World (1997). The 180-gram vinyl-only reissues, which come on the heels of their amazing 2019 album Beyond The Door and after 40 years as a band, will mark the first-ever North American vinyl pressings of either album. Beloved Los Angeles band that dog. -- comprised of guitarist/vocalist Anna Waronker, drummer Tony Maxwell, and bassist/vocalist Rachel Haden -- will release their first new album in twenty-two years on October 4th, 2019 via UMe. Today, the band has released a mini-documentary on the making of the album's title-track 'Old LP,' which features the band recording the song with guest vocalist Maya Rudolph.

Beloved Los Angeles band that dog. -- comprised of guitarist/vocalist Anna Waronker, drummer Tony Maxwell, and bassist/vocalist Rachel Haden -- will release their first new album in twenty-two years on October 4th, 2019 via UMe.  The record, entitled Old LP, was recorded over the last three years in Los Angeles, and features guest appearances from Maya Rudolph, Randy Newman, Graham Coxon (Blur), Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Charlotte Caffey (The Go-Go's), Tanya Haden (The Haden Sisters), violinist Kaitlin Wolfberg, Andrew Dost (fun.), and Steve McDonald (Redd Kross).  A first taste of the album, a totally classic that dog. song, titled 'If You Just Didn't Do It,' picks up beautifully where the band left off in the late 90's.

Broadway Bowls Returns Sept.6 - Dec.13

The Broadway Show Bowling League will return on Thursday, September 6 at Port Authorities' newly remodeled Leisure Time Bowling Alley. Every Thursday evening from September 6 through December 13, actors and staff of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows will compete in the Broadway Show Bowling League. Games are played from 11:45PM to approx. 1:30AM at Leisure Time Bowling Alley (located inside Port Authority) in New York.
