The Public Theater presents the New York premiere of Tony Kushner's THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES. Michael Greif, who directed the world premiere at the Guthrie in April 2009, will direct the New York premiere. Rehearsals begin Monday, February 7 in New York. Hamingson) and Amnesty International USA will be hosting a rally on Wednesday, January 19 from 12 PM to 1 PM to show solidarity and support for the persecuted Belarus artists and activists, including Belarus Free Theater whose powerful production of BEING HAROLD PINTER was just staged to great acclaim at this year's Under the Radar Festival.

The show was a sold out hit at this year's Under The Radar Festival. All proceeds from the evening benefit the Belarus Free Theater who is facing persecution in their homeland and barely escaped prison to travel to New York to perform this powerful piece of political theater

The first New York revival of Kushner's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play is directed by Michael Greif.
