Yesterday, March 2, the company of THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES met the press. Cast members Michael Cristofer, Linda Emond, Michael Esper, K. Todd Freeman, Bruce MacVittie, Hettienne Park, Steven Pasquale, Molly Price, Danielle Skrastaad, Stephen Spinella and Brenda Wehle, and director Michael Greif and playwright Tony Kushner were on hand for the photo op and BroadwayWorld brings you coverage below.
The Public Theater and Signature Theatre Company in association with the Guthrie Theater (Joe Dowling, Director) present the New York premiere of Tony Kushner's THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES. Michael Greif, who directed the world premiere at the Guthrie in April, 2009, will direct the New York premiere. THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES begins performances at The Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street) on Tuesday, March 22 and continues through Sunday, June 12 with an official press opening on Thursday, May 5. Full price tickets begin at $75 each. Public Theater Members can purchase $20 tickets and Signature Theatre Company subscribers can reserve their seats by contacting their respective Member and Subscriber hotlines.
